Saudi VISA ---- Free VISA....... Is that really free???

Every one in India usually dream for going abroad earn more and get settled soon. They seldom see the facts pros and cons, All they wanted fly abroad or send their children for work.
Even from labor to engineers, uneducated or educated all have the same dream, that Saudi is full of Gold treasure and everyone can come and fetch as much Gold and dream for a Miracle to happen....But always ends with mirage.
Unless other gulf Countries, Saudi is totally unique and has its own system on Visa. Most of the companies hire through sub agents throughout India. Very few companies hire directly or some do through referrals.

Visa Types: Employment Visa Vs Free Visa

Employment Visa as implies it is offered from company for working in Saudi, usually 2 years or 3 years. And the employee works for the same company and according to companies policy he will get pay, allowance etc.

On the other hand, Free Visa as contradictory to the name, it is sold to people at a price. The price varies with person to person, agent to agent, and also on profession.

Least type of Visa is the House Driver Visa --- Price range from SAR 5000 to 7000/- But worth only SAR800 to SAR 1400 per month salary. Drawbacks on this Visa is that, though they say it is free, your bounded to work for the sponsors house unless he permits you cannot work anywhere.
The House Driver Visa is not transferable. You cannot bring family on House Driver Visa.

Nowadays Govement has taken good steps to crack down on visa selling. Companies are monitored on wages, so that no one works outside. But it will take more time to eradicate all of these visa fraud.

Many complian after coming here, instead they should check before coming. Hope this blog give them some guidelines.

Saudi is employee friendly if you enter legally, else you will face very touch life, even few can't return home countires.
